Baylor Law School is the oldest law school in Texas, affiliated with Baylor University and located in Waco. The school has maintained accreditation from the American Bar Association since 1931 and joined the Association of American Law Schools in 1938. Its curriculum encompasses theoretical legal analysis, practical application, legal writing, advocacy, professional responsibility, and negotiation skills.

Established in 1857, Baylor was the first law school in Texas and the second west of the Mississippi River. After closing in 1883, the institution was reestablished in 1920. The school experienced a temporary suspension from 1943 to 1946 due to World War II.

The school operates on a quarter system with four graduating classes annually. Students can pursue a standard Juris Doctor degree or combine it with programs such as an MBA, Master of Taxation, or Master of Divinity. Baylor's curriculum emphasizes practical court experience through its distinctive Practice Court program.
